I am so excited to be able to speak at the Econ Ed Conference this year! I have attended for at least 4 years now and it is an incredible opportunity to learn more about the world of finances and teaching practices. I will also be participating in several sessions. One that I am really excited for is Planet Money + Econ Lowdown = Teaching Success! and it will be hosted by Scott Wolla from Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and Alex Goldmark the executive producer of NPR's Planet Money. I will be teaching a session called Thriving in the digital age with your feet on the ground: Using Google and Creativity to teach personal finances. I think it will be a really great time and I will try and give a recap next week on my experience!
